Snorkeling
Snorkelling is a popular underwater activity that allows participants to stay underwater for extended periods of time without constantly lifting their heads out of the water. The word "snorkel" refers to the equipment chosen, which includes a long tube (snorkel) that is placed in the mouth and has a valve or cap on top to keep the water from flowing in. Snorkelling usually involves participants floating on the surface of the sea or a pool with their face in the water. They breathe through the snorkel through a tube and exhale above the water and have a mask or goggles over their face. This allows them to stay underwater for longer periods of time enjoying the underwater environment, fish and marine life.
