Anti-fog
Anti-fog sprays and gels are products designed to prevent fogging on various surfaces, such as eyeglasses, goggles, mirrors, and even diving masks or snorkel masks. Fogging occurs when moisture condenses on a surface, forming tiny water droplets that obstruct visibility. Anti-fog sprays work by creating a thin, hydrophilic (water-attracting) film on the surface, which prevents the formation of water droplets and allows for clear vision.
Anti-fog sprays are commonly used in a variety of activities and environments where fogging can be a problem. They are particularly popular in sports such as skiing, snowboarding, swimming, and scuba diving, where goggles, masks, or visors are worn and fogging can significantly impair performance or safety. Anti-fog sprays are also useful in everyday situations, such as preventing fogging on eyeglasses when transitioning between temperature extremes or wearing face masks.
